See what your moves actually cost

What a review finds
Not one game's mistakes — the ones you keep making
What to work on
An illustration of a review of twenty games — not a real player.
- 1
You give away your advantage when you are winning
In winning positions your moves cost about three times what they do elsewhere.
When ahead, spend the time you would spend attacking on asking what your opponent threatens.
- 2
Moves 21–30 are where your games are decided
Most of your blunders arrive in the same ten-move stretch, after the opening is over.
- 3
You blunder most on moves played in under 3 seconds
Fast moves lose far more than the ones you think about.
If the reply is obvious, check the one move that is not.
Free, and staying that way
Every feature is free.
If it helped, you can put something in the tin. It unlocks nothing.
